Adventures in Odyssey Podcast to Honor Actor Walker Edmiston

Colorado Springs, CO – A special 13-minute Adventures in Odyssey podcast will premiere March 21 in recognition of the late Walker Edmiston’s work on Focus on the Family’s Adventures in Odyssey.

Edmiston, who died on Feb. 15 from cancer, worked on Adventures in Odyssey since its creation in 1987. Not only did Edmiston play the voices of Tom Riley and Bart Rathbone, but also could be heard voicing various character roles when needed.

Adventures in Odyssey is an audio show that brings moral and biblical principles to life. Set in the small town of Odyssey, the stories range from comedy to suspense, from romance to mystery. The show’s memorable, fun characters and situations are designed to ignite the imaginations of children ages 8 to 12 — while captivating the attention of the entire family.

“For many families, Adventures in Odyssey is more than a show,” said Dave Arnold, executive producer of the show. “It’s a community. The podcast has become an excellent way for us to connect.”
