Justice prevails with confirmation of Judge Southwick
Judge Leslie Southwick confirmed.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Focus on the Family judicial analyst Bruce Hausknecht made the following statement after the confirmation of Judge Leslie Southwick:
“We applaud the confirmation of Judge Leslie Southwick to the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. This respected and experienced attorney, judge, and military officer had to endure a 10-month wait for a simple up-or-down vote – this despite a unanimous ‘well-qualified’ rating by the American Bar Association and distinctive service in the Mississippi Court of Appeals.
“Men and women at the grassroots level responded to this injustice by answering a call to action and making their voices heard. Southwick’s confirmation is a testament to the power of everyday individuals who care about their country more than partisan politics. They know that Southwick, a man of integrity and family values, will provide the 5th Circuit with valued insight based on a strict interpretation of the Constitution.”
