About Us Welcome Center Hours of Operation and Tour Times Directions to Focus on the Family On-campus Bookstore The Welcome Center has had more than two and a half million guests walk through its doors since its opening in 1994, and is located next to our on-campus bookstore. Families can enjoy a 170-seat theater featuring films like Welcome Home, The Last Chance Detectives and other theater presentations. We're very sorry for the inconvenience, but Whit's End Soda Shop is temporarily closed. We hope to reopen in a few weeks. Also, our A-Bend-A-Go slide will be open during limited times. Please call ahead for our daily schedule. Attractions include a kids' play area with a three-story slide, Whit's End Soda Shoppe, birthday party room, G. Harvey Art Gallery and Solid Grounds coffee bar.

Additional expansions include the Discovery Emporium, complete with a puppet stage, reading area, KYDS' Radio Studio, two birthday party rooms (J&J Antiques and the Odyssey Fire Station), an area for toddlers (Camp What-A-Nut), the Foley Museum and the Narnia Adventure Room.

Kid's Corner

Downstairs in the Welcome Center, young visitors will love the newly expanded Kid's Korner. One of the main attractions is A-Bend-A-Go, a three-story corkscrew slide.

Whit's End

You will also get a chance to visit Whit's End, which is a turn-of-the-century soda fountain straight from the popular Adventures in Odyssey audio and video series.

KYDS Radio

Your child can record his or her voice on an actual Adventures in Odyssey episode written just for KYDS Radio. The complimentary CD you'll take home is sure to become a family keepsake.

Camp-What-A-Nut

Even toddlers get a chance to play safely in the room we designed especially for them – Camp-What-A-Nut.
